My Travel Channels
My objective when making travel films is to “inform and inspire”. I aim to make content that is positive and uplifting despite visiting some of the world’s most troubled locations (and despite social media’s craving for sensationalism and negativity). My films have been shared on the social media platforms of tour companies and destination businesses from Greenland to Kosovo. I am always on the lookout to collaborate with like-minded individuals and businesses, whether in the south of Scotland or globally.
My main channel is “Travel Obscurer” which, as its title suggests, tends to focus on lesser known, or lesser travelled destinations. Since launch the channel has amassed 150,000 hours of watch-time from a global audience. I recently launched the “eye scotland” channel to provide an outlet for films of locations and events close to home in Dumfries and Galloway, as well as forays north to the Highlands and Islands. I have also mixed travel with sport in my documentary series following Gretna’s football team in the Lowland League.
A selection of recent films are provided below - but I would encourage you to subscribe to the channels themselves. If you’re interested in collaborating then contact me.
